Striking Poses are Dan Cullen and Deryn Yuill, two accomplished musicians with diverse backgrounds. Their combined pool of experience includes years of performance in classical, rock and cabaret settings; composition for the media and sound engineering and production. Striking Poses began life as a writing partnership, focusing mostly on a theatrical/ cabaret style of music. They now perform regularly, and have become a talked about feature of the Leeds busking scene.
Their music is characterised by Cullen's powerful vocals, Yuill's lyrical cello, and their captivating writing style.
Striking Poses have just released their first album, "Empty Highways", which is available at their management website, www.strikingmediamusic.com/merchandise, and will soon be available on Itunes.
