Lights over Phoenix is a 5 piece band from Maidstone Grammar School, just over the road from Mote Park.

The band formed in mid 2007 as a four piece improvisational outfit, after some deliberation and the rejection of a female singer, the addition of Elliot Seeds seemed natural. Since then the band has written much material and developed away from improvisational ideas into the current style. At a recent competition they convincingly beat the other bands to gain recording opportunities and airtime with a regional radio station.

Currently the band is gigging around the South East, spending time writing new material and recording new versions of existing songs.

We will be playing at the Zebra Bar in Maidstone on the 9th May... about 7...just for anyone who fancies some good music and a good drink! ( We are now called "Lights Over Phoenix"...not "Gateway")
