Big T and the Responsibilities are a hard working new band, hailing from sunny Doncaster. We started out as jamming buddies (all guitar players in fact), but four blokes playing guitars doesn't make a band. Pokitts and GreenOne switched to Bass and Drums respectively and have learnt to play their instruments during rehearsal over the last twelve months or so.
Big T is our sonic secret weapon, able to unleash driving riffs and clever melody lines. Mister Taylor is the wordsmith and singer, with lyrics that are as much rooted in english folk as they are in Rock and Roll.
GreenOne plays his kit like it's a proper instrument, adding and embellishing the sound rather than bashing it into submission. Pokitts, with his background in guitar playing, takes a tuneful approach to underpinning the lower frequencies. Glitz adds the polish with her beautiful backing vocals and also keeps the boys in check.
Since we all have different influences and all have a say in the musical direction of the band, we have a diverse musical style. The Responsibilities can be melodic and graceful in one breath, and out and out raw and dirty the next. If you like your music to be original, uninhibited and uncompromised by the latest fad sounds, Big T and the Responsibilities are for you...............

Just reading through the comments that have been made in the last few months! :-D

Very pleased to see people enjoying the tunes, and all suggestions are discussed with the band.

We're currently recording new material (and rerecording some of the ones on this site).

So six tracks are in production and we will post a blog when they're available.!
