THE KILLERSHREWS are a Manchester based three piece “prog rock “ band .
They are committed to doing original and diverse music. They have been together since the early 90s, and have avoided the musical circus that is the record industry, preferring the underground scene. Doing surprise gigs without all the hustle of promotion, they have played at some of the best venues in there time, like the “board walk” Band on the wall” etc. recently they have struck a chord with an American audience who have discovered ”THE SHREWS” on My space. Where the killer shrews have done a concept recording of THE DARKTOWER by Stephen King. generating up to a thousand plays a day. Comparisons of this band have been made to sounding something between THE POLICE and MARRILLION.
