Stephanie descends from the powerful Royal Family of the Ashanti People her real Ashanti name is Akua Ohenewaa Aseyenem Akotocyre Akuasuhemaa. Her father was influential in the formation and development of the new independant state of Ghana in 1957 with the first President, Nkrumah.
Her mother Nana Boahemaah II was, until her death in 1994, reigning Monarch of Kokobin, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Stephanie is one of the best live vocalists in the UK today. She has supported artistes such as Blue, Atomic Kitten, Mystique, Omar and many more.
Stephanie has appeared frequently on television in such shows as This Morning, Lorraine Kelly, Royals In London, London Tonight and many others.
Stephanie has co written with many songwriters like Danny Schrogger, (co-writer of "Think Twice"), Andy Hill (writer of many of Bucks Fizz hit records), Terry Britton (writer of some of Tina Turners Hits like "What's Love got to do with it"), written many Dance Hits with Rob Davis (writer of "Can't get you out of my head"). Stephanie is at present busy recording two albums, one in her native tongue, and a unique collection of Rolling Stones tracks.
