Hey there, just a little about myself;
I've been playing guitar and drums now since I was 11 years of age, at heart, I'm a guitarist but drums are fun too! I've played with many bands over the years both on guitar and drums, but I'm currently playing guitar for a melodic death metal band called DENOUNCE, who I've been with for many years. We've done many tours around England, played at a metal festival called Bloodstock, which was around 10,000 people capacity, done interviews for magazines and radio and released a few cd's, one of which has recently been released in the shops.... sorry... had to plug the band :D
Anyway, about my solo material;
All I have in the way of recording equipment is a Tascam digital portastudio DP-01FX, which is ok but its nothing special as I'm poor most of the time! But I've managed to pull some good quality songs from it as I've been in the studio quite a few times and know a thing or two about production, quality and recording tecniques.
I don't have a particular favorite genre either. as I started playing guitar, I was a pure classical player, but as I progressed, I realised the classical guitar wasn't going to keep me interested for too much longer, so I made the jump to electric... which, coinsidentaly enough, is what I'm still playing.
Over the years I've studied many musicians, from big to small time, so when I write or compose, I have that freedom to choose a genre. I know my profile is set to ROCK but I also write full orchestra peices, classical peices and have even dabbled in electronic. So if you do hear a few of my songs and they all sound completely different, thats probably why!
