Part Time Love

Hey you, I know your hurtin’,  Your pains for all to see

Don’t you, know you’re my darlin’, But your starting to get to me

I never lost my love for you, you declined.

You never complement the views,  Are you blind?

(Chorus)

You see I’m looking for heaven on earth,  how could heaven here work?

There are people dying to see it

You think you’re more than your worth, this ain’t what you deserve,  This aint no part time love

I know its rare when two lovers make a pair, the magic has to be real ….  Well there’s

No holding hands, no  sign of romancing , no care for what I feel

You see I’m looking for heaven on earth how could heaven here work?

There are people dying to see it

I think that I’m more than you’re worth, this ain’t what I deserve.    This aint no part time love

Forget romancing don’t have time to take you dancing

You’re my girl you should do everything your man says

I need you? ‘cause you buy the lines I feed you

I’m  Paying my fines when the time comes I can leave you

You’re my part time I’m your gold mine

Flashing the cash like you work your just a go sign

don’t talk ,think of the consequences

cant walk, think of the love your missing

Your Selfish eyes and Childish ways

I needed special to make me stay

See when your looking for heaven, you have to be patient

Imagine the scene, Don’t lose sight of your dream

I’m looking for perfect and I wont be your reject    Oh No

You treat me like a part time lover only see me under covers

Baby in time you’ll discover, how it feels to be the other

I really like this song. Its has a nice energy about it. Not too sure about the strange synth that comes in I think it may spoil the style a bit but as you say they are just demos. Keep your head up!!! Mick

Thanks Jon, as constructive as ever!!! I disagree! Amelia Abrahams "the vocalist" has a wonderful voice and is a huge talent. Considering my poor engineering skills and the small set up we have she has done a fantastic job in helping us produce DEMOS!!

Not a bad song at all. Vocals could come out a bit. A little compression could tighten them nicely. I like the brass sound, but maybe you could try mixing percussion samples with real cymbals, cow bells etc.....played in real time. I know you see these tracks as demos, but that's no reason not to get the most out of them.... keep 'em comin'..nice one...
