What ho peasants.

Been a while, but basically, I wanted some opinions on Metallica's new single.

After the last album ("St. Anger" subtle eh?) , I was expecting something just as horrific. But this new song, is actually wuite good. Reminisent of the golden oldies,  like One, and Fade to Black.

Despite being mixed and produced by a monkey (the snare sounds like an empty 2 litre bottle of coke, and as the song becomes heavier, the sound quality again degrades some what) its actaully quite likeable, for me anyway.
 

I gave up on Metallica a long time ago. I'm pretty sure i watched this song on youtube and it sounds to me like they're trying too hard to sound like they used to if you know what i mean? Like, when ..And Justice for All came out it was alot different to Master of Puppets and yet still a masterpiece with tracks like One and Blackened. It was a musical progression they wanted to take, and people loved it.

The difference with the new album is they are just trying to give the fans what they want since 99% of Metallica fans throught St Anger was shite. Doesn't feel from the heart if ya know what i mean.

I gave up on Metallica since the dozy twonks sued there fanbase for supporting MP3 downloads.

Ok, 20% had illigally downloaded a few tracks. but the remaining 80% simply copied there original CD to there PC for playing back, and just happend to broadcast that across MSN using the MSN "what are you listning to" plugin, or nabster "user is listning too..." plugin.  and Metallica atempted to sue everyone!

Metallica = Numptie loosers.

For a band thats dead set against sites like this, and the promotion of newbands via MP3 sample sharing, I'm surprized you even breathed there name, young Jäger ;)
