Has the Free members vote stopped?

    Hi GoBusker,

Has the free members vote stopped? We've been emailing our fanbase to sign up but they are replying that they dont have the vote option any more.

Re: Has the Free members vote stopped?

Our strategy was to email all our fan base and ask them to sign up and vote, and we had a reply back from one guy that he could not see the vote box. As there was no notice or mention of its removal on GoBusker that I could see, the simple way to check was to make another account so I checked as my cousin signed up, saw there was no longer any free vote, and posted a comment. Apologies if it looked dodgy.

They have resorted to txt vote only.

You have the bands who was blatently vote rigging to thank for that.

(personally I think they should have been ejected from the competition, but it seems there somehow still in it!!)

    Bloody brilliant!

Our fan base is primarily in the States and Europe so how do they vote now? Presumably they will not be able to text and phone calls will cost a fortune for them. This competition has descended into a farce especially seeing as the vote riggers are still riding high in the top ten.

It sucks... They will have to check the costs with there provider.  Its like everything really, "We'll charge you a £1 but your provider may add there own service plan charges ontop". they might have to do the old +44 thing, before the txt number.  I can I use to txt a friends mobile in canada.  It didn't count as part of my free txt bundle but it still only cost me 12p per txt, which is about what PAYG customers pay, so It didn't bother me much.

I aint sain' a thing.  I agree, and I've made my point known.  I think they should have been, and still should be ejected.  For a simple number of reasons really... One being Vote riggin, the others I'm not gonna say here, but I will probably chat to Jon69 about it later on MSN.

Re: Has the Free members vote stopped?

Hi Everyone, it was only pointed out to me today that the free vote had been removed. We had discussed this option with the technical crew as a possibility, and due to a misunderstanding, they took this as an instruction rather than an option and removed the free vote without further reference to us.  Due to your pressure and concerns, I have had the free vote reinstated today.   We are still investigating and are continuing to monitor the issue of vote rigging.  The next phase of the competition WILL be text voting only to eradicate the possibility of further problems. Ma Busker

As was said by those wise musical gurus 'The View'... Hats off to the Buskers...

Im asuming that this is the same "technical crew" who thinks light Peach colored text on a white background is easy to read?

Re: Has the Free members vote stopped?

Have to say that the vote riggers need to have their votes stripped and forced to start again. That or be ejected from the competition altogether.

I have drummed up as much support as possible to get my track up to no.23 and feel a little annoyed that people can take the p*ss in this way.

The free vote should have been controlled with a maximum of 2 votes per I.P address or something similar. Maybe it should not have been used to begin with.

I shudder to think how much cash my support has spent to help me get up the charts. Surely this is not only wrong but undermines the whole competition altogether?

In short shame on those cheating f*cks who obviously have not the confidence in their own music skills to get the votes rolling in. Do us all a favour and get out of the way for the REAL musicians who have got talent and DON'T need to cheat to prove it.

    W*NKERS!

I personally think the top 15 or so are a good mix of music, it would be horrible if it was all the same....

    Re: Great Music

Not all of them dude. Just a few of them in the top 10 (except Knights). I managed to get myself quite far without cheating however. Shows ya can do it if you play by the rules.

There is a good mix of music in the charts, just a shame I aint in the top 15......yet.......;-P

Vote BWR folks, you know it makes sense!

I have to admit Darrel, Knifechrist has a point, dude.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
