some words about me

I'm Male, 31 years old and I live in Great Britain. I'm generally interested in Monkeying around on the web, Raceing cars and pool.

Here is my biography:

Guess I better put down a little bit more info about myself...

I am a computer nutcase, and I have been since the age of 5 when I recieved my first "Oric-1"

Ahhh Such a special Machine.  I quickly became bored with the games that were avalable with it and whilst in a book store I spotted a "make your own games" book...  After a few mins of anoying my dad, I was the happy owner of a programing book.

By the age of 7, I was writing my own games.  Naturally I "needed" a better system, As saving to tape was a very long process.

At christmas, santa delivers this big box.  Inside was a Spectrum +3. Oh the joy! no more tape for me! All my games could be kept on a 3" disk.

At 10, I was dabbling with the Idea of writing applications.  And worked on a few projects of my own.  "RhinoPaint" was one of them.  It was a very simple paint program, simalar to "MSPaint", but you could save and load your artwork.

I then spent alot of time just mucking around with graphics and stuff, and at 12, when I started Senior School, my dad took me out to get my first IBM based PC.

What a cracking PC that was... this I had till I was 16, and kept me going through my school days.  Writing Applications, designing 3D povray Art, playing games and designing presentations for my school, I was even writing music on it (remember the old .mod days!).  It did it all.... untill games became more demanding.  I needed faster, I needed better.

During the next 14 years came PC after PC, always upgrading the one before.  Now I have a pritty powerfull PC.

I got a job at 21 working for a Computer support company in london, and did alot of traveling up and down the country babysitting Show PC's for exibitions and presentations.  I was also introduced to the Word Wide Web..... Oooo.... New terratory.  This is when I recieved a call from an old friend and we kick started ClockerZ.org, My first web project.  And basicly Since then and between jobs, I have been doing graphical work and web design on the side.  have a few semi famous clients like Zoe Anderson and Mike McClean.  I have even done some Video editing work for Terry Henry Thierry Henry.(people who know me, know the joke)

Last year I got head hunted by a tradeing bank.  And much to my previous employes disappointment in the matter, I took the bank up on there offer.... and thats where I am today.

I have 2 loverly kiddies... well ones mine, but I love the other one too... Got married, then got divorced and now I am currently in a relationship with the loverly Lolly over there on the right (sorry ladies !).

I use to play pool for a local pub team, but I couldn't continue that because of commuting to london and back, I'd more than likely miss my match.  I do now however race cars on a Thursday night (legally).

We usually go out every Wednesday for a social get together with friends... (ie a group of us go down to the pub and get drunk.)  As I don't drink, I'm usually the driver.
